Allegra-D is used to treat sneezing, runny or stuffy nose, itchy or watery eyes, hives, skin rash, itching, and other symptoms of allergies and the common cold.

FOR EFFECTIVE RELIEF OF:

• Allegra-D is used to treat sneezing, runny or stuffy nose, itchy or watery eyes, hives, skin rash, itching, and other symptoms of allergies and the common cold.

• Allegra-D contains a combination of fexofenadine and pseudoephedrine. Fexofenadine is an antihistamine that reduces the effects of natural chemical histamine in the body. Histamine can produce symptoms of sneezing, itching, watery eyes, and runny nose.

  Pseudoephedrine is a decongestant that shrinks blood vessels in the nasal passages. Dilated blood vessels can cause nasal congestion (stuffy nose).

Warnings:

Do not use: if you have ever had an allergic reaction to this product or any of its ingredients or to adrenergic agents (such as ephedrine); with other antihistamines and decongestants; or if you have any of the following conditions, including glaucoma, difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland, urinary retention, high blood pressure, heart disease, receiving a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) or within 14 days of stopping use of a MAOI, or if you have difficulty swallowing.
Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have kidney disease, are 65 years of age or older, or are taking any description drugs or if you have thyroid disease or diabetes.
When using this product, do not take within 2 hours of an antacid that contains aluminum or magnesium hydroxide. When using this product, do not take with fruit juices.
Stop use and ask a doctor if you have an allergic reaction (get medicinal help right away) or if nervousness, dizziness, or sleeplessness occur.
Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, call a poison control center or get medical help right away.
